She earned over 1 500 USD and this is her story!

Can you briefly introduce yourself – where are you from and how did you get into trading?

I’m a businesswoman and a mother of two. I specialize in content and strategic marketing. I studied it at UTB in Zlín and right after my studies I founded my own PR agency. I have always been close to numbers and counting money. I started to get into trading when I was on maternity leave. I wanted a change. Also, my own freedom is essential for me and that’s exactly what trading offers. Now I live with my family in Podivín in South Moravia.

What did you do before you started trading? Any unexpected career paths?

Not an unexpected journey, but after years, my work was not so fulfilling, and as it happens, around the birth of my first child things were hectic at work. I was looking for a director for my agency, we were also dealing with some problems, plus a baby at home. Suddenly it was too much and I felt a great need to make a change. I still do marketing today, but not as an agency anymore, but independently.

Do you remember your very first trade? What was it – and how did it turn out?

I don’t even remember that because I got into it so fast. At the same time as studying charts and indicators, I was entering real trades and watching what it does.

What made you go to EverTrader Evaluation?

Well, let’s face it, I burned some accounts in the beginning, but I never doubted my goal that trading was the right path for me. Evaluation mainly helps me to work on my psyche, patience and discipline. I had taken some courses from Dominik Kovarik before, so when Dominik presented EverTrader, I was immediately into it.

Honestly – how did your first attempt go? Was there any trouble or did it go well?

I guess it was beginner’s luck. At the beginning it was just really good and fast. But then came the harder days, when I started to realize the importance of the psyche.

What was the most difficult thing for you during the Evaluation – and how did you manage it?

Probably a series of losses. When my first thoughts were “It’s ruined, I can’t take it anymore” etc. But when I started my business, my dad said: “Never doubt yourself”, then a great teacher said to me: “Never give up on your goal. If you can’t, change your strategy or your path.” I keep repeating these phrases to myself and they help me bounce back.

What would you say to someone who is hesitant to go for it?

If the thought is already in your head, it’s there for a reason. Don’t listen to the fear and worry and just go for it.

How does it feel to trade with capital that isn’t yours – but profit is?

The main thing for me is my profit. And maybe there’s a little relief that all the capital isn’t mine

What did your first paycheck look like? And if you can tell us – what did you buy with it?

I went to Slovenia with my friends for a long weekend. I love traveling, so it was an obvious decision for me to celebrate my first paycheck.

What is the difference between trading your own small account and trading through EverTrader?

The difference is in the psyche and money management. With EverTrader, I just know that I can’t go into a certain loss. With my own account, the rules were harder to follow. I trade with a $220,000 account, so of course that account size can make a nice payout than trading with the same results and effort in, say, a $4,000 account.

What is your favourite setup or instrument?

I mostly trade DE30 and USTEC. My favourite setup is on the hourly chart using MACD, Stochastic and RSI indicators with PIVOT at resistance and supports. Then on the 5-minute chart I wait for an entry to trade.

What are the three rules you stick to at all costs?

I wish I could say at all costs. I’m still working on that. But I don’t trade when said indicators go against each other, they have to be in line, I also try not to hold trades overnight.

How do you handle risk and emotions, especially in times of loss? (specifically: RRR, strategy, etc.)

I’m still learning and working on myself. Maybe today I’m not making the mistake of trying to catch up quickly after a series of losses. That was always a bummer. Its the opposite, after a series of losses, you need to slow down, breathe it out and then start again according to the rules.

Has your approach to trading changed since you’ve been trading on EverAccount?

It’s been a while, but the psyche is a little different again. Right now I’m coming off a series of losses, but I’m not catching up and trading slower, I just have to wait and stick to a working strategy. Not change it like socks. It would have looked different before.

I trade DE30, ideally in the morning, and USTEC again in the afternoon.

What has helped you grow the most – books, mentors, YouTube marathons?

Dominik Kovařík’s courses helped me a lot. But overall I spent a lot of time directly in the chart. I watched what was happening, I watched candle formations, different indicators and how they interacted with each other.

Do you trade alone or are you part of a community?

I do trading all by myself. Mostly talking to anyone about my setups on the chart skews my own judgment. So I prefer to be alone.

What is your next goal as a trader?

Of course, I want to advance further into the progressive plan and have trading as my main activity.

One thing you wish you knew at the beginning of trading?

It’s gonna hurt.

Have you ever screamed at the screen? What happened?

I didn’t scream, but I’ve had the dream several times that the markets are going down so fast I can’t even close positions, and they’re going all the way down to hell.

If your trading style had its own soundtrack – what song would it be?

Nothing`s gonna stop us now

What would you say to people who still doubt prop trading or EverTrader?

Go ahead. You don’t have to pay for your mistakes by burning through your own accounts, plus you’ll learn to follow the rules much faster and strengthen your psyche.
