Here are all our rules on one page.
Every rule has a numeric example. If a rule isn't on this page and in the Terms, it isn't a rule.
Transparent 2-Step
The classic challenge, without the traps: a floor that never moves and no rule on your best day.
- Profit target
- 10% → 5%
- $5,000, then $2,500
- Max loss
- 10% static
- Floor $45,000, never moves
- Daily loss
- 5%
- $2,500 a day on a $50,000 account
What you're free to do
- Time limitUnlimited

- Best-day / consistency ruleNone
Your best day can be 100% of your profit, in the challenge and funded.
- Weekend & newsAllowed
Hold overnight, over the weekend and through any news release.
- Per-trade risk ruleNone
Two trades are two trades. We never group them afterwards to build a violation.
- Rules once fundedIdentical
Same limits and freedoms after you pass. Nothing gets stricter.
The only two limits
That floor never moves, even if you grow the account to $56,000. Open trades count too.
The same $2,500 every day, measured from where the day starts. Start at $52,500? That day you can go down to $50,000. Platform time.
Cushion levels
- From your first payout$5,00010% of the account stays in
- After 2 payouts$2,5005%: the released $2,500 counts toward your next payout
- After 4 payouts$0You withdraw everything above $50,000
Getting paid on the 2-Step, step by step
- Day 1Test Withdrawal: up to $200
- Withdraw up to $200 of profit from your first funded day
- Paid in 24 hours, once per account
- Exempt from the minimum payout
- First payoutKeep a $5,000 cushion, withdraw the rest
- Your first $5,000 of profit (10%) stays in the account
- At $55,500 you can withdraw everything above $55,000
- Paid in 24 hours, or a penalty applies
- 90% split + your full fee refunded
- Next payoutsEvery 14 days, at +7%
- Request a payout once you are $3,500 (+7%) above the cushion
- At least 14 days between payouts
- Each processed within 15 days
- 95% split from the second payout
- After 2 payoutsThe cushion drops to $2,500

- The remaining $2,500 is released and counts toward your next payout
- From then on, you withdraw everything above $50,000
Transparent 1-Step
One phase less means less proof of skill. We balance it with two levers, written here: a tighter static floor and one notch less leverage. No traps.

- Max loss
- 6% static
- Floor $47,000, never moves

How we apply the rules
Strict rules are fine. What destroys trust is a firm that decides as it goes. These four principles stop that.
- 01Use 100% of your limits
Your max loss is your max loss. Using 90% of it is not a red flag. There are no hidden internal thresholds.
- 02Warning first
First non-fraudulent violation: a warning with an explanation. Second: we remove only the profit involved. Account closed only for proven fraud or documented repeats, with the proof shown.
- 03No rules by email
Support and the risk team read the same document you do. An email can't create a new rule.
- 04Frozen at purchase
Your account runs on the Terms version you bought, forever. Changes apply only to new purchases, with a public dated changelog.
Us vs the average prop firm
The right column is what you'll find, in some mix, at the big evaluation firms. No names: open their Terms and check them line by line against ours.
| EVERTRADER2-Step | Average prop firm | |
|---|---|---|
| Drawdown | 10% static, never moves | Trailing: it follows your equity up |
| Consistency rule | None | 25 to 45% best-day caps, or "profit distribution" |
| Time limit | Unlimited | Often 30 days, or a paid extension |
| Funded rules | Identical to the challenge | Stricter after funding: lower leverage, new rules |
| Rules outside the Terms | Impossible | "Gambling" or "one-sided betting", defined after the fact |
| Payouts | First in 24h, then max 15 days, late = penalty | Weekly on paper, "in review" for weeks |
| Split | 90%, then 95%, never sold | 80%, with 90% sold as an upgrade |
| Hidden costs | $0: one-time fee, never expires | Activation, data or monthly platform fees |
What you can and can't do
- Use tools that calculate risk or position size
- Trade news, weekends, scalping, swing, full size
- Hold more than one account at the same time
- Exploit price errors or delays in the feed
- Open opposite trades on two accounts to lock a sure win
- Let someone else trade your account
- Pay someone to pass the challenge for you
- Use trading robots (EAs)
- Copy trades, from anyone, including between your own accounts
- Anything you're not sure about
The terms, in plain words
Standard industry terms, never redefined to suit us.
- Static drawdown
The loss floor is fixed at purchase and never moves. $50k account, 10% static: the floor is $45,000 no matter what.
- Trailing drawdown
The floor rises as you profit, chasing you while you win. We don't use it anywhere.
- EOD drawdown
A drawdown updated only at the day's close, not tick by tick. A middle ground between static and intraday trailing.
- Equity vs balance
Balance counts closed trades; equity also counts open ones. Our loss limits are on equity, so floating losses count.
- Consistency rule
Any rule capping how much of your profit can come from one day or trade. We have none, on any product.
- Cushion
The first +10% of profit stays in the account as its cushion: not withdrawable before your fourth payout. On the 1-Step and the 2-Step it drops to 5% after two payouts; on every account it drops to zero after your fourth payout, and the released part counts toward your next payout.
- Profit target per payout
After every payout, the next one needs a fresh +10% profit target above the cushion (+7% on the 2-Step).
- Pre-trade block
A limit applied by the platform when you place the order: an order that would break it doesn't open. Prevention instead of punishment.
- Frozen Rules
The rules you bought under stay valid forever on your account. Changes apply only to new purchases, with a public dated changelog.
Rules you can read in 10 minutes.
