Can I use so-called: “Tick Scalping”?
What is tick scalping and its definition:
Tick scalping is a trading technique that involves opening and closing trading positions extremely quickly in short time intervals, which makes it extremely difficult to replicate in the real market due to the high probability of slippage. This trading method is characterised by a high frequency of transactions, which makes its exact replication in a real market environment very difficult, especially due to the negative impact of slippage on the results.
EverTarder scalping rules (valid at any stage of the program):
“Tick scalping” is trading that takes less than 15 seconds between opening and closing a position, which is strictly prohibited.
Furthermore, the proportion of trading volume executed under tick scalping may not exceed 10% of the total cumulative trading volume.
If this behaviour is detected, you will receive an initial notification from us.
If, after receiving a warning, we find that more than 10% of your trades continue to fall into the “tick scalping” category, your account will be terminated immediately and you will no longer be able to trade on it, as you have repeatedly committed rule violations despite our initial notice.
If we find that more than 50% of your trades fall into this category, your account will be cancelled immediately without any prior notice.
The above definition provides a general framework for assessment. However, each case will be assessed individually by our team.
